2 0 0 1 was originally a joke gone to far when my girlfriend and I started making up random genre names such as “Operawave” and “Post Vapor Punk”, and tried actually making them. Having the idea of combining Vaportrap with Shoegaze, I managed to create a little 1 minute beat into an actual “Post Vapor Punk” song, and then expanded that beat into a full fledged song, creating a genre I like to call “Shoe Wave”.

Rose came to existence when I was browsing through random Soundcloud artist’s and I found an old friend I went to choir with’s Soundcloud, and I found a song called “Vie en rose”, which I thought would sound cool with a beat behind it, and took it as far as I could. To me the song is about being aware of the uncertainty of the future, and how certain outcomes will effect you, sort of an “I’m going to miss you” song.

A Very Nostalgic album that reminds me of the times i used to spend at my grandma’s. It has this oldies feel to it that i really like. The first track(especially with that bass) puts me in this trance that i can’t explain. 8.5/10. Andrew Gregway
