Following the outbreak of war in the nearby Asteria star system, the metropolis spaceport known as Aphelion Drift has been forced into quarantine. A dangerous viral contaminant of unknown origin has breached the station. Those aboard the Drift call it ‘Lurch’, a reference to early symptoms of the contagion. Persistent rumours suggest Lurch is a deadly biological warfare agent. As the station descends into chaos, the cryptic Doctor Ellis is dispatched by the VYMOL Corporation. Secretly, VYMOL has determined Lurch is an alien entity attempting to manifest in human form. Symptoms of Lurch are horrendous, seeming to mimic elements of bubonic plague, but on a rapidly elevated timeline. Death occurs within 24 hours of contact with Lurch. Due to unknown elements apparently associated with increased adrenaline and cortisol levels, the corpse continues to exhibit violent and primal behaviour after complete organ failure. The alien entity, whose true nature remains an enigma, moves on to its next prospective host.

I liked Desired's self-titled release very much, so had to get "Lovestory" as well, its style feels the closest. Desired must be a fan of the 80ies "Cat's Eye" anime, as tracks 1 and 8 are from its soundtrack.
