This album is lovingly dedicated to Vinyl Dial, ESPRIT 空想 and their art, respectively. Each of you have had a unique role in shaping this album as well as my work in a broader sense and for this I am forever indebted.

'In the MIDI of the Night' is a collection of things that I have grown to love over my years and it draws from countless inspirations. In its softsynth atmosphere and shimmering synthetic bells the only truly common thread among these tracks is their commonality in time of composition: the middle of the night. When the day ceases its ever-aggressive march toward its next rise and the soothing chill of the stars takes hold, that is when I find my respite behind the beats.
