New Coke was the unofficial name for the reformulation of Coca-Cola introduced in April 1985 by the Coca-Cola Company to replace their original formula. Today this corporate venture is regarded as a notorious failure, despite the company's aggressive "Catch the Wave!" marketing campaign featuring Max Headroom, "the world's first computer-generated TV host." Outrage over the change in formula resulted in boycotts, petitions and even public protests. The Coca-Cola Company re-introduced the old formula under the name Coca-Cola Classic less than three months after New Coke's release. The New Coke formula had no official name of its own until 1992, when it was renamed Coke II. The product was discontinued a decade later. Unopened cans of New Coke can be bought online today for as much as 99.00 USD per can.

I liked Desired's self-titled release very much, so had to get "Lovestory" as well, its style feels the closest. Desired must be a fan of the 80ies "Cat's Eye" anime, as tracks 1 and 8 are from its soundtrack.
