Reuben Consumer The only regret I have is not ordering a Seikomart Cassette sooner. Chess King obviously delivers a great album, with really fun ski resort vibes (plus the bonus track is nice and eerie!). Honestly the real kicker is just how awesome the package was; The handwritten note, and the other goodies really made my day! Super happy with the whole label, I doubt it’ll be a month before I order my next cassette. ((ESPECIALLY if there’s gunna be any more re-releases 😁)) Favorite track: Aspen.

There I was sitting on a bench outside of Little Nell's with my cast propped up, the sun warming my face as I watched the new gondola carry skiers up the mountain.
"A little overzealous timberbashing and now my season is over" I thought as I shook my head.
Suddenly, a wall of snow sprayed over me as a skier made a hard stop a few feet from me. I cleared the snow from my ray-bans and my jaw dropped as I saw her there,unbuckling her skis wearing a red, skintight Ellesse ski suit.
"Oh I'm sorry. Did I get you?" She said

This album makes you feel like you're inside an old computer that is on it's last legs. Everything is glitchy, aggressive, and decaying around you. There are only a few moments where it feels something is still functioning and intact, only to be followed by more sounds of disrepair. Truly a special experience. icu8some2

A Very Nostalgic album that reminds me of the times i used to spend at my grandma’s. It has this oldies feel to it that i really like. The first track(especially with that bass) puts me in this trance that i can’t explain. 8.5/10. Andrew Gregway
